I'm building myself a MITX pc to be used for work reasons only, so I do not intent to use it for recording, games, editing or things like that. What I do require in fact is a dvd/cd burner, "fast enough" multitasking and softwares perfomances (I do not use heavy software anyway). My first ideal combo is:

Case: Lian Li PC-Q03
CPU: Intel i3-4160
GPU: *CPU integrated*
Motherboard: Asus H81I-Plus
SSD: Samsung 840 EVO 250 gb (or maybe an HDD, like Caviar Blue 1 TB)
PSU: Corsair CX430
Ram: 1600 mhz 2x4gb
Optics: Samsung SN-208FB/BEBE

Will it do the job well in your opinion? Will the optic have a problem with the case bay? Is there any other possibility worth the change with about the same price of this build (more/less)?

Hello.

That's a decent build. Are you in the USA? Prices can be different overseas. The only real concern I would have is with the PSU. It is an entry level model and I'd suggest something like the Antec Basic 350 which has better parts. You system would run on s 200W supply, so 350 will be plenty.
