mITX Skylake Build

Honorable
Hello all,

I'm interested in building a small form factor skylake system for the purpose of steam machine/HTPC/portable powerhouse.

Parts that will be reused are:
-Samsung 850 EVO 250GB
-650W EVGA P2 PSU
-Monitor, mouse, keyboard
-Maybe the GTX660 I currently use

I would like this to be a fairly modest upgrade to my i7-950 system, but not break the bank.

I think I'd prefer to go with an i5-6600 or 6500.

I do not wish to overclock this platform.

mITX is the desired form factor.

Games I most typically play are League of Legends, Overwatch, WoW, Starcraft 2, as well as various Steam titles and old console titles run through emulation.

Any input is greatly appreciated/

Upgrade the GPU as you see fit. The case will fit "long" GPUs and your PSU is plenty big enough...

Thanks for the reply.

Are there any other motherboards you might suggest? I'm partial to Asus and Gigabyte, would consider MSI.

Your options for a non-overclocking Skylake build are fairly limited with the ITX form factor. Check out the link below for ASUS, Gigabyte, and MSI options. Note that this included H110, B150 and H170 chipsets... The Gigabyte I originally recommended has built-in WiFi and BT.
