Mix DDR2 memory

Hey guys.
Right now I have 2GB+1GB working fine in Dual-mode on my old pc. I'm planning to add another 4GB(2+2) up to total 7GB and wonder if it will be ok?
My mother board is ASUS M3A.
All ram is DDR2 800mhz.

Basically the answer is yes...but you won't get dual channel mode unless you use identical dimms in pairs.

Simple answer : YES 😀
Long answer : The max RAM supported by M3A is 8GB, so as long as you're in that range, you're PC will run perfectly! It doesn't matter if u have an even amount of RAM installed (2, 4, 6, 8, 12, 24, etc). I'm currently using 7 GB, 3 x 2GB and 1 X 1GB! 😛
