Mixing 2x4GB Ram sticks for Dual Channel

Hey I'm off to build a Ryzen 3 1200 GTX 1050Ti casual gaming pc. All the parts are assembled including

Ryzen 3 1200 CPU
MSI GTX 1050Ti 4GB DDR5 OC Edition
ASUS B350M

I decided to go with 8GB ram for now. At first i thought going with 1x8GB stick but then realized a 2x4GB will perform better than the single 8GB stick. I searched for 8GB kits but couldn't find one anywhere. I don't know much about Single Channel & Dual Channel Rams. If i buy 2x4GB Rams separately (Same model but in two packs) will it work as a Dual Channel kit? or is it mandatory to buy 2x4GB kit to work as a dual channel Ram?

This is the Ram i currently have in mind Corsair LPX CMK4GX4M1A2400C16R It is sold as separate 1x4GB kits. If i buy 2 of these will it work as Dual Channel?

Yes, you can get it to work on dual channel but you might have to mess around with the BIOS. If you are not comfortable doing that and possibly getting crashes for half an hour fixing it, then it's not recommended.

Also, just buy one 8GB RAM. Its performance is more than enough. Most of the times, better performance in games comes from the GPU unless your other parts are highly bottlenecking it which are not.

You have to be careful here, there are and can be many problems.
Dual kits WILL work together - 100% guaranteed

When you start going Single - you can get problems, although not always, but there is a risk. Even when you buy the same RAM several months down the road...
So dual is 100% working, single later on... is less than 100% how much less, I cannot say. Everyone has different stories.
