Mixing ddr2 and ddr3

Hello, I was wondering if you can put a ddr3 into a ddr2 motherboard? I read that you can have ddr2 ram installed and have a ddr3 video card in but I dont know if that means that you can put any type of video card into any type of mother board? I'm not too tech savvy as you can see so please go easy =P

You cannot successfully use DDR3 RAM in a motherboard that is designed for DDR2 RAM. You can successfully use a GPU (graphics processing unit) with DDR3 (or DDR4 or DDR5) Memory. The GPUs come with their own memory chips.
