Mixing Different Memory?

I just have a quick little question. I currently have one Kingston HyperX Blu 8GB 1600 Dual Channel stick in my rig. (http://goo.gl/NCMRdj) Yeah I know, not using dual channel that way, not as high performance, blah blah. I am getting a second stick on Friday, to maximize potential. Now I also have two Crucial Ballistix Sport 4GB 1600 Dual Channel sticks that are currently just going to waste. (http://goo.gl/bXWlzU) My motherboard has two sets of two slots, so I was considering putting each set of sticks in a set of slots.

My question is whether or not that will work?

I figure since they would be running in separate channels they might not conflict as much, but I'm not too knowledgeable about RAM. The only difference other than size and brand that I notice is timing. The kingston sticks are 10-10-10-24 and the crucial sticks are 9-9-9-24. But I don't know if that matters in different channels.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Hi Nathan
It is definately not a good idea to mix memory
for a start the timings and latency's on both kits are different , cas9 and cas10
this will cause you no end of problems , if your system even boots at all . DEFINITELY NOT A GOOD IDEA

That's what I figured, but thought it would be worth asking anyways. Thanks for the answer!
