lets say I have 4 slots .
Is it possible on first pair of 2 slots putting 2x4gb and second pair of a different channel putting 2X4 but a different product?

Solution
Yes, you would be best suited to sticking to one matched pair or a matched four DIMM set if you were looking to fill all the slots. As for timings, I'm talking about the actual timings of the RAM.

https://www.hardwaresecrets.com/understanding-ram-timings/

Taken from the above link: The memory timings are given through a series of numbers; for instance, 4-4-4-8, 5-5-5-15, 7-7-7-21, or 9-9-9-24. These numbers indicate the amount of clock cycles that it takes the memory to perform a certain operation. The smaller the number, the faster the memory.

If it works, which isn't a guarantee by any means, the RAM will all be clocked to whatever the slowest speed happens to be. Also, if there's a mix in timings between the two different sets, you can almost guarantee they'll not work.

Good luck regardless.

Thank you for your answers , so it would be best using only one channel like 2X8GB ?
I hope you meant what I wanted to do (I don’t understand much) , I wanted to do like 2X4GB (one pair)then another pair of 2X4GB from a different brand
