[SOLVED] Mixing different ram brands

Hi! So I have 1x8gb of HyperX Fury DDR4 2133mhz ram in my PC. Single channel ram is very low so I thought of buying another 1x8gb stick. To my surprise, there is no HyperX DDR4 2133mhz being sold new in my country anymore. Basically all I have left to do is mix ram brands. I thought of buying an 1x8 stick of Corsair Valueselect DDR4 2133mhz. Is this a good idea? Is this fairly fail proof?

even 2 of the same hyperx fury might not work together if not come from 1 kit.
but since they are slow 2133 speed likely work. make sure they have the same timing.

My HyperX is CL14 but any other RAM I see is CL15...

Unfortunately this is not a yes/no question. You can try and there is a reasonable chance it will be ok but there is a chance of issues. RAM is only guaranteed to work together if bought as a matched kit.
