Mixing G.Skill RipjawsX 8gb(2x4gb) CL9 and RipjawsX 16gb(2x8gb) CL10..is this ok?

they might work if they have same jedec settings but mixing ram is not a warranty of good result you could use cpu-z spd to check the jedec and try one old with one new in the first channel to see if they work and at witch speed before adding the other in the same order on the other channel .
