Hi there, I just received a used computer and I am looking to upgrade it. The system is a Biostar TA 970 motherboard with a FX-4300 processor and 4gb of Corsair XMS ddr3 ram at 1333mhz. I am looking to upgrade the ram and found a dual channel kit of G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 1600mhz on sale and would like to use those seeing as how I am on a budget.
My questions are:

1) Is this ram compatable with my motherboard/system?

2) If I have the Ripjaws paired in one dual channel and the original corsair alone in the second one, is that ok? Will the ripjaws be underclocked to the corsair speed?

Here are the links to my products:

The RipJaws will be fine, as far as mixing with the old, it might work or it might not, try the RJs in slots 1-3 from the CPU and if all OK, then add the other in slot 2, might need a little extra voltage to the DRAM (try 1.56 instead of the stock 1.5)...if any problems, give me a shout
