Mixing Memory with OCZ low voltage

Hi,

I have 4gigs (2x2) of OCZ low voltage 1600 memory. I would like to buy 4 more gigs but do not wish to buy OCZ again because of the cost. Can I get a different set of 4 gigs memory (non low voltage) and use them together with the low voltage memory? I hope this make sense. Thanks.

You can mix RAMs with different timings and they'll operate at the slowest speed/timings(However,it's always recommended to use RAMs from the same manufacture)

You will have to run them all at the same voltage, timings and speed or it will not work right.

No guarantee they will all run at the same voltage.

Thanks for the reply. I will try to find ram with similar speed and voltage. If not I guess I'm stuck paying more money.
