Mixing ram memory

It's always a hit or miss, just make sure the speeds they are running at are the same. Also, most people say that you shouldn't run dual side chip ram with single sided chip ram. I find this to be a bit of a myth, I have some ddr2, if you run the dual sided ram in slots 1 and 2 and the 1 sided in 3 and 4 or 2 sided in 1 and 1 sided in the second it should be fine.

check the jedec settings of both ram and do the same for voltages if one run 1.2 v and the other at 1.35 for the same jedec speed you gone have issue .

Their no answer all you can do is try.
Sometimes it works sometimes not and sometimes can be made to work with some BIOS settings being adjusted.
