Question Mixing RAM Same brand

Guys, right now i have Corsair Vengeance LPX 2x4GB, i bought this Ram like 2 years ago, and yesterday i bought 2x4gb with same brand, same code, and same speed. Will it work?

I asked my friends, and all of them said it will work, even they mix it with different brand and speed

Im using :
R5 1600 and Asus B350f Strix

The more specs you can match, the better your chances, but its still that, a chance.

RAM is only guaranteed to work in the kits its sold in, even RAM bought on the same day might not work together.

Its a fairly high chance of it working, but dont be shocked if it dosent work.

If I had to guess, its over an 80% chance of it working.
If it dosent work just return it.
