[SOLVED] Mixing ram

Hello,
I have one strip of ram (1x8gb) from Corsair Dominator Platinum 16GB DDR3 1600MHz kit (CMD16GX3M2A1600C9), and i recently received Corsair Vengeance 16GB DDR3 Kit ( CMZ16GX3M2A1600C10). My question is: Can i mixed them to increase my present capacity?

You won't know till you try them together. Mixing or adding memory is hit and miss even if identical.
