[SOLVED] Mixing ranks?

Sorry for bad English. Hello, I have a small question, I bought a DDR3 memory that is practically the same as mine, but it is dual rank, and mine is single rank. Can I do dual channel?

Nope.
You should use same-brand, same-architechture and same GB RAM slots to get the benefits of dual channel RAM and avoid issues.
Also, Dual rank RAM has to be supported explicitly.

You can try it and some systems won't have a problem with it. But it may not work dual channel because of the mixed ranks.
