Mixing Regular Kingston RAM with HyperX?

The RAM that I have is Kingston 1x8gb 2133MHz DDR4. Was wondering if I could buy an 8GB HyperX stick (also 2133MHz DDR4) and have it work well.

The general rule is....don't mix RAM.

That being said....I've mixed lots of RAM and had it work.

I don't think anyone is going to be able to tell you whether those will work together or not. You are going to have to try and see.

....but I think the chances of it working are pretty good.

I tried and they work. But you only get performance equal to regular ram. And any ddr4 can be mixed with same type but different brand. But it is not recommended..

But you can use and you will satisfy with it's results.
