There really is no future. The E5-2xxx V4 CPUs are the last of that generation. The Xeon Scalable use a different socket.Nothing wrong with them! It was a query for the future more than anything. You’re a fan?
I doubt it. The chassis is usually non-standard. If you want different CPUs you should get an entire new system.Bleak. Would the chassis itself accept motherboard upgrade? Something that might take a threadripper or other such cpu? Appreciate the advice!
