I am a big gamer of MMOs and RPGs. My problem is I have 6-20 spells I can cast at any one time (depending on the game). If I use a standard keyboard and mouse I generally have to look at my keyboard as I have no physical indicator of where my hand is on the keyboard.

I have two options of controlling my character or interacting with the game.

1. I use a 'standard' mouse (R.A.T 5) and the razor gaming keypad

2. I use the MMO 7 with loads of buttons!!

Suggestions?

Over info:
I play WoW, D3, but will spend most of my time on GW2 when it is released

Budget is ~£80 (~$130) and I'm based in the UK.

As a WoW player since 2005 let me tell you that there's no need to spend money on keyboards/gaming mouse. I have no idea how you're playing but don't you use the WASD for movement? That's your physical indicator of where your hand is. I had keybids using almost every letter and number plus CTRL,shift and ALT keys.
It takes some practice to know them all but isn't it better than to spend 80£?

I use to use WASD and my keyboard but im handicapped as i dont really use my mouse. Any serious gamer would laugh at this. On the off hand, practically every button on my keyboard is mapped to a spell for my main in wow. I use about 20% of them for regular/dungeons raids. I'm not a big fan of ctrl/shift keys and so don't use them.

I've been playing wow since BC (2007) and I've been a serious raider for a while using my setup, and have performed very well, however, I want more of an edge and don't want to have to look at my keyboard any more and so I'm confident that I want to invest into some MMO peripherals, I'm just interested if anyone has any experience or advice on this. But thanks for your comment.

Nah I don't see how all 12 buttons can be actuated comfortably. So i'm either going to use the MMO 7 or RAT 5 with the ergonomic key pad, still open for any comments not sure which setup to get yet :/
