MMO Mouse, how handy are they? hard to use?

Since creating a Monk character I found that they have, oh about 74 abilities that are all semi-handy to use.

My Steelseries WOW mouse is great, right size, enough buttons (till now) and with using the first few number keys I can get all my hotkeys in use without moving my hands at all.

Now I need to map a ton of abilities, since even a DPS Monk has 2-3-4 healing abilities to toss around if needed, as well as a bunch of attacks and cool-downs.

Are those tough to use due to the large # of buttons close to each other? The WOW mouse has 8 buttons that I have mapped out but they are all on different sides, 4 on the thumb, 2 around the scroll wheel, scroll wheel push and there is a pinkie button (for interupts) Simple to remember and use.

Instead of a mouse, you may want to look into custom UIs for WOW that allow you to macro stuff together instead having to manually perform it all.
I'm pretty sure that's what they intended anyways.

Though you might have 12 macros you want quicker access to.
