I don't know if you heard of World of Warcraft? It's a quite popular game. It also offers Holiday Themes.

I also wondered why WoW wasn't mentioned. Like it or hate it, it's bigger than most (if not all) listed, and as far back as I can remember, it's always had (and currently does) offer holiday decor and quests.

Unless your purpose was to bring to light (or back to the light) alternatives to the WoW juggernaut.

City of Heroes, too. It has giant snow men to fight, presents lying around, and other cool stuff. I think there's even a mission where you can rescue the baby New Year.

lol, at first I wasn't going to read this article because I thought it was going to be riddled with WoW & it's many quests surrounding XMAS theme...

Well My game was mentioned so I am happy. Don't care about WoW I tried it found it way to over rated & went back to the game I have been playing for three years now I just find it a better game & I also hated the pure paint by number graphics in WoW made me want to hurt my HDTV when playing WoW..lol

You can also throw snowballs in EQ2. I find the holiday stuff rather annoying, just like it is in real life.

From snowballs in pvp that devastate your opponents to rescuing Metzen the reindeer to saving the holidays from the abominable Greeench to the 10's of quests and the countless hours put into them for achievements I really have to wonder why the game that has more subscribers than all the other games listed above COMBINED was left out. Oh, by the way... World of Warcraft has been having holiday fun since it's first holiday 4 years ago.

WoW has more to do in it at holiday time than any of these other games, and it's subscriber base is larger than the rest of the games combined. Bad form in not giving it a shout out. Gosh toms sucks hard these days. Crappy writing, no journalistic integrity, articles that seem like they came from a frat boy idiot than professional, and bias left and right.

Ya the game which you mentioned above are nice and all are offering holiday themes. And from Warhammer Europe Gold also nice themes are provided which are catchy too..

Guild Wars has always had nice holiday themes. My favorite is probably the Halloween one; there are some interesting items available.
