Mobile Forums Logged out/in views

So when you visit the Tom’s Hardware forums on mobile I’ve noticed several differences when logged out versus in.

When I’m logged out the drop down menus for selecting different forums are much easier to see and everything has a different layout which is better than when logged in.

Also when you are logged in on mobile there is no reply option on forum posts.

Why is there a different much better layout when logged out? The majority of the time I’m browsing these forums and answering questions I’m on mobile so this is kind of a pain.

The forum software is not optimized well for mobile browsers. This is supposed to change whenever they switch to the new forum software but we have zero idea on when that will happen.
