[SOLVED] Mobile GPU vs GTX-970

I built my desktop in 2014 AND need a new laptop, thinking its worth it to buy a gaming laptop to replace both.

Whats the cheap/lowest current MOBILE graphics card that still out performs my aging desktop GTX 970?

A desktop 1650 Super is equal to a GTX 980 on current games. That means you will probably need a mobile 1660 to get performance around that of a GTX 970/980. Therefore a mobile 1660Ti should be an upgrade.

Looks like Im waiting a month and pairing with a Ryzen 4xxx or a an on sale I7. Too many 3xxx's keeping the price high, too new to affect the Intel I7 price
