Mobile GPU's

Hi (First post so hi to all :0) ) I'm currently running an Acer 803 Centrino 1600 with a Mobility Radeon 9000. This produces a score of 7336 on 3DMark2001SE. Not too sure if its good or bad to be honest.

I mostly use the machine for work, although I'm looking forward to HL2 coming out.

So my qauestions are

1) Although its not out yet so no one knows for sure what do people think the chances of me being able to run HL2 will be, prefabbly being to see some of the nice features rather than it looking like pong.

2) If my card is a little pants, what are the chances of me being able to upgarde the card and if so what should I go for.

GW, already posted a reply from a developer, your R9000 should be fine. he developers use similar laptops themselves.
