Mobile hotspot not working

My mobile hotspot says connected on my LG Stylo 3 from Family Mobile. It always worked when I was buying the 9 GB no contract for 39.88 but since I bought the 49.88 I've had nothing but trouble so on my phone says connected but on the device I'm tethering to says no network connection I've tried everything
