Mobile phone upgrades

I know that this doesn't really fit the category but I'm upgrading my htc one m8 in May so I'm starting to look into the smart phone market and I wondered what would be a good upgrade. I'm stuck between the Samsung galaxy s6 edge plus and the galaxy note 4. Are there any other smartphones with similar performance with a 5" screen or larger?

s6 edge plus has the hardware advantage and looks slick as hell, definetly my choice

Alright cheers , that's the one I have my eye on ... trying to find a good deal .
I'm somewhere inbetween going all out and getting that or finding a sweet spot in price and performance

I looked at the one plus x, and.it seemed to be jus the phone I've got in q different body with a different ui, which doesn't really appeal to me.
