mobo advice on a budget

looking to spend £50-65 in the uk on an overclockable mobo for amd 8320

what are the say top 5? and any to avoid

only 1 gpu

if poss mushkin blackline ram friendly

Think I'd look at the Asus M5A97 LE R2.0, then look at the ASRock or the Gigabyte mobos, and avoid the rest

thanx mate, ive seen this reccomended a few times so must be a good shout, i was considering the asrock extreme3 before but the pricing on that board seems very unpredictable, any issues with 2x4gb mushkin blackline 1.5v ram? i can get 1.35v for same price but i dont know if that would be better or not, thanx again mate

also, is the version with version with bios flashback a significant advantage? this is my first build so am a bit inept, need an article that explains rather than tells really

Shouldn't be a problem, think I'd shy away from low voltage sticks, many AMD mobos don't really support it, and many who have picked up those sticks end up running them at 1.5 anyway

no worries up to say 1866 with two sticks (which is max it's rated for), if price is right could try a pair of 2133 with the thought may have to downclock to 1866 know that sounds sort of lame, but some can carry a pair of 2133, others can't, but can often find 2133 at 1866 prices, if they will run at 2133, you gain some bandwidth over 1866
