So when the PC boots up from being shut down or restarted it will make this constant loud noise from the MOBO speaker. If I put the PC to sleep and wake it the sound is gone. This has been going on for about a month till I finally found the noise.
Went to bios to disable CPU fan failure alarm and the noise went away.
Temps of the cpu are always monitored and usually are around 35-40 Idle and 45-60 while gaming. Nothing has changed since the alarm triggered.
I use a Corsair H100 for the cpu. In the bios it showed cpu fan at 0%, both Rad fans are spinning fan along with every other fan in the case. Everything seems ok and in order.
This happened after I swapped out ram. I've taken them out and made sure they were properly seated.
I guess my question is there anything I need to do?
This PC was built in September 2012, the H100 has been on the cpu since december of 2012.
