I just upgraded my GPU and started having a weird problem. Sometimes (not every time) my pc will beep on start and it may not display video...some of those times it will end up displaying video anyway by the end of it and most of the times it seems to boot just fine without beeping. I never had any sort of similar problem before and tbh the GPU seems to be working stable and fine whenever it does boot so something like this really makes me scratch my head... I noticed the beeping pattern doesn't seem to be very consistent either which is weird. It seems that sometimes it beeps 3 times pause and then 2 times again but it varies and its a matter of simply restarting in order to make it work without beeping

My specs are:
CPU:5900x
MOBO: Asrock X570 Phantom Gaming ITX
RAM: 32GB Crucial Ballistix 3000mhz
PSU: CM 750 SFX
GPU: MSI 6750xt 12gb* (previously was running a very old 1060 6gb that had been with me since before i upgraded everything else)

Some additional info that might help:

This mobo seems to have a bad CMOS battery or something because i noticed that sometimes the BIOS configs revert themselves... i never really had a problem with it though, i just noticed they reverted whenever i tried to change the fan profiles through the bios but since i also started controling my fans through that program called FanControl i never really bothered with that and i been using it without any problem or error until today when i changed the GPU

My pc case is a mini ITX that came with a PCie 3.0 riser cable. My mobo is 4.0 and my GPU is 4.0 so maybe this could be the mobo trying to switch from 4.0 to 3.0 automatically and failing sometimes?

My high speed M2 NVME drive which is main drive is also connected through a long riser cable and placed away from the motherboard. That never gave me any sort of problem so far ever since i installed it but that is also a type of unusual modification so idk if that could contribute in any way

Could this be related to drivers in any way or does it seem like a hardware issue?

How old is the PSU in your build?

Did you remove the GTX1060's driver using DDU prior to removing the GPU for the other one?

This would indicate that your home might be having a grounding issue. Try and replace the CMOS battery and see if that helps change your predicament. BIOS version for your motherboard?
