Hello,

I just upgraded my motherboard and cpu from
msi h110m + pentium g4560
to
msi b450m + ryzen 5 3600

I was prepared to reinstall windows, had usb drive plugged in and everything as generally recommended, but my pc didn't boot from the usb drive and just went "getting your devices ready" mode. After that, my system booted up, no lost files, everything is looking fine, everything is detected, i did not reinstall windows at all.

Is this some sort of good automatic stuff that happened? Do I need to check if everything is working correctly somewhere deeper? If yes, then how? Should I re-install windows just in case anyway or not bother?

Thanks a lot in advance for help.

Windows 10 are pretty resilient that way, specially if connected to internet at that time. You should still be advised to go thru all drivers and update them because they would be just very basic,
