Hi!
I just replaced two kits of RAM because they didn't work properly. I put them in first and fourth slot as the mobo manual said and I assume that something is wrong with the fourt slot. I put both sticks of the first RAM kit into all slots when testing it and they both failed. When testing the second kit I only had sticks in 2nd and 4th slot and the one in the 4th slot failed. I tested both of them in the 2nd slot and the one that was in the 4th before failed.
Is there a possibilty that the 4th slot is destroying RAM sticks since every stick that has been there failed the test?
Is there any possiblity to test ram slots?

Solution
It is possible that the slot has failed/become defective, less likely that it would cause a ram stick to fail, buy possible. If you can't get any memory recognized in that slot that it's safe to assume the slot is defective.

Sticks get recognized but every stick that was in the 4th slot doesn`t work properly
