Mobo ethernet problem

So, i can't seem to connect to the internet when i wake up this morning. Troubleshooot says: "Internet connection adapter is experiencing driver or hardware related problems". It's on the latest driver so i decided to install the old ones. Still the same problem. What frustrated me is that i've only used the mobo for barely a week. It's the maximus vii hero. Assuming its a hardware problem and i have to get a replacement, what do i have to do once i swapped in the new mobo? (drivers...)

Yeah it could be the drivers, but mind that when you install drivers you must uninstall the ones currently installed first, otherwise it won't use the other drivers you want to install. I would contact tech support for more advice as they could help you rule out the problem perhaps.

Which tech support? And btw, i 've been using it for almost a week without any problems. It just happened today when i turn it on from hibernate

Also, what do i need to reinstall when i get the replacement? Just the drivers?
