for a gaming build,
which mobo is better,
asrock z87 fatality killer or asrock z87 pro4?
Other components:
i5 4670k
r9 280x
8gb ram.

I'm from India, here the price difference between the two is 3000.
And suggest a good psu for this build...

Yes, we know about the z97's in india as I even mentioned it above :)

The reference to the z97 extreme4 was that the z87 version is probably just as good as it.

We gave you 3 good options and you have 2 from your original post; the Asus z87-A, Asrock z87 extreme4, MSI Gaming, Asrock z87 Pro4, Asrock Killer

The Extreme4 is out of stock and if you don't want a z97 then it's out to. So you have the Asus and the 2 original Asrocks. They all have 3 year warranty. The pro4 is the cheapest by 3000rs, so you are probably better off going with it. If you only want to overclock to 4.5, then most 1150 can achieve this.
I would say get the pro4 and Seasonic 620w and be happy with your new build :)
Yup, either of the Extreme4 are very nice. The Asus z87-A would be up there with them to as I have seen it recommended a lot. Really up to you in the end, don't see vast differences between them.

The MSI Gaming 3 is the only z97 available to you on your budget and it's also a great choice.

Here's a review of it

All in all, unless you are trying to shoot for 5.0 the motherboard won't really matter imo, but as mentioned a z97 is newer :)

Guys, z97 is available only in MSI currently in India.
I thought that the killer was in the sweet spot with good specs and price...
Extreme 4 is not available.
And I found that I would need a z87 mobo only if I wish to upgrade to broad well.
