Right now, I'm running an Intel mobo 865Perl with two ATI video cards (one is AGP, and the other PCI) and four LCD monitors. This works fairly well for me.

I want to upgrade to an Intel 975 mobo, but I'm not sure what issues I might have with the PCI Express. I know the 975 has dual PCIE. Has anyone used the dual PCIE to power four monitors (versus using it for Crossfire)?

Man! Multiple Monitors PCI-Express16 style is awesome compared to AGP and PCI.
There aren't any issues I know about, except you will need to use the same graphics cards
for best performance. I have a Quad Monitor LCD Setup, just like this video:

I don't use the Video Card Crossfire feature. That is a waste...lol.
As a Day Trader, I need my Four LCD Multiple Monitor Display!
Anyway, PCIEx16 is so fast and stable, it will amaze you!

If you decide you'd rather buy a Multiple Monitor Computer,
check out Multi-Monitors.com.
