Upgrading to a ryzen 7 1700 x and looking for the motherboard..

evo 212 led.. out of box ready
gtx 1060
600 watt PSU
Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 DRAM 3000MHz

Dont know a heck of a lot and have spent the last few days trying to decide on one..reading reviews and such. reviews on Amazon hover around the 3.5 mark but dont trust them, watched some youtube vids..etc...lot of info to digest

Using for gaming but not hardcore..budget is 100-150

a few I have considered

ASUS Prime X370-Pro..top of budget, a little over..dont need dual gpu support though
MSI Gaming AMD Ryzen B350
ASUS Prime B350-Plus..this seems to be a popular choice although there are some bad reviews

anything else in that budget category I should consider

thanks

the ones you considered are good but not as these, these mobo's are one of the best out there

these are perfect mobo's with tons of great features , and they are future-proof as hell

personally i got this one paired with the same cpu you got and a gtx 980 ti, everything is so smooth, so great , it's a little off the budget , but it does worth it

good luck

Thanks for reply, I will take a look..

I was going to go with the ASUS Prime X370-Pro because it comes in a bundle with the 1700x... dont live by a store that sells CPU's and everything out of stock on Amazon for a week..lol, I am impatient...

For the 1700 CPUs I wouoldnt recommend anything under X370 mobos, meaning no B350 crap, its not crap but the VRMs are stronger on X370 mobos.
My personal favorite is Taichi and you have Fatal1ty priced just under 150 that is based on the same design.

just be patient , find something to do, be patient , amazon is the best out-there with great prices, you'll not regret it, and neither an x370 mobo you won't

it's your choice , but if you are gaming only, the i7 7700k is better, more stability , more beautiful nothing would beat an i7 7700k with a good mobo like this one

everything is almost the same price and it's better, i regret my ryzen 1700 even if it's totally perfect , the i7 7700k was in my hands and i let it go it's a little more perfect, same price as the ryzen, don't get fooled by the 8 cores of it, the 4 cores of the intel are better
