Mobo / Gpu Problem

So i have already posted about this but im still wondering if it could be my mobo that is causing artifacts, im just tired of waiting for my pc gigabyte took a month to ship my mobo back and i just dont want to get my gpu back and see that it is my mobo, which i know is not common for the mobo to be causing artifacts but id like some reassurance.

Normally it would be the GPU not the motherboard.

When you're using an add-on GPU, there's nothing built on to the motherboard that would cause display artefacts.

Different story of course if you were using on-board GPU (which you aren't).

what about the pcie slot could that be damaged?

Most likely it would either work or not if damaged!
