So im trying to ge the msi b450 tomahawk max for my 3600x but its sold out everywhere particularly Newegg but on eBay neweggs listing for the board states they have more than 10 available ? is this legit? i don't want buy this and all of my other parts just to have the order canceled because they didn't update their inventory

Solution
The x470 board supports sli while the b450 doesnt. No real benefit to multi gpu anyhow.

The x470 board seems to have different cpu power delivery and an extra 4 pin for power. Shouldnt matter for a 3600x.

There is no way wether we can say that the stock amount is accurate, but id assume it is.
If it isnt, you get your money back.
Can you tell me if there is any difference between the Tomohawk Max and the Gaming Plus Max for the b450. So this
MSI PERFORMANCE GAMING X470 GAMING PLUS MAX AM4 AMD
vs
MSI B450 TOMAHAWK MAX AM4 AMD B450 SATA 6Gb/s ATX AMD Motherboard
I plan to oc my 3600x and want to know if there are any differences between these two boards.

The X470 gaming plus will work fine.

You can also check out the
MSI B450 Gaming PRO max and MSI B450 gaming plus max

These models are very similar to the B450 tomahawk max and are often cheaper. They have slight inferior VRM cooling and different looks. But both are still very good.

sadly all of those are out of stock except the b470. I am going to go with it and like you said they are the same board pretty much right ? Same feature and all?

Sadly my 3600 cl16 ram isn't supported on there
It has higher and lower frequency ram but not 3600
