Hello and i'm sorry for the silly question!

Is it bad to install a CPU with integrated GPU in a mobo that as a IGP?

Thank you in advance!

NO!, its mandatory you should do it.

just make sure after you install the graphics card drivers you plug your cable into your graphics card.

lets point out your GPU is getting old and you want to replace it, you got to plug in your cable into your motherboard so you can install the new Gpu drives otherwise you won't have any display on your screen.

IGP - integrated graphics processor can be in built into motherboard chipset or into CPU.
It can't be in both of them (at least I don't know any such possible combination).
You're probably reading or understanding specs wrong.

For modern PCs iGPU is built into CPU. Motherboard is just providing outputs for connecting monitor.

Looks i didnt make my self clear. I meant a motherboard with a IGP and a CPU that has a integrated core graphics. Because we have Mobos with IGP and Mobos that depend on the CPU. In this case my question is about a those mobos that have IGP (that not require a CPU with a GPU core) and a CPU with a core gpu.
