Question MOBO making single long beep sound

Hey just wanted to check if anyone had run into something similar. My PC has been making a single long beep sound (I assume from the MOBO since I don't have speakers or anything). This seems to mainly happen when I'm gaming on 7680x2160 resolution. Lowering the resolution seems to fix the problem. I've checked gpu/cpu temps and everything is fine when it beeps. What's also odd is that the PC doesn't shut down or anything. The game will just keep going like nothing happen. Really asides from the beep everything seems normal.

Also did an HP extensive test which includes:

  • Battery check
  • Processor check
  • System board check
  • Hard drive SMART check
  • Hard drive short DST check
  • Hard drive optimized DST check
  • Hard drive long DST check
  • Memory extensive check
  • Video memory check
Context: Running an hp omen 45L with i9 cpu and RTX 4090 and windows 11

What Ive tried so far:

  • Updating bios
  • Reseating the ram

HP appear to use AMI bios.
They don't have a code that is just 1 long beep.
they have:
1 long, 2 short: Video card memory issue
1 long, 3 short: Conventional/Extended Memory failure
1 long, 8 short: Display/retrace test failed
https://www.computerhope.com/beep.htm

If its any of those, it could be 1st.
It looks like 24gb not enough for 2 x 4k. is it all games or just some?

Video memory check

I wonder how hp checks this
its amazing, search for check Vram and every result just shows how to find out how much you have... um, that isn't what I was after.

Have you tried unplugging any extra USB? I seen people find the noise was something attached to pc via a dongle.. just covering all possibilities.

It appears to be some games. I also have upgraded my ram to 64gb. But I did test with my old and new ram and the same problem is there. I haven't done extensive tests but ac Valhalla seemed to be fine but for some reason cyberpunk and ac odyssey I am able to somewhat consistently reproduce.
As for the beep codes you listed, I'm fairly certain it's not just 1 long and 2 short. Most of the time it's just a single beep, but also not consistent length. I think there was once where there was a beep right after that was also long, but that more just seemed like it happening twice since it only happened the one time.

As for the unplugging stuff I did try that too ☹️. Were you thinking that the noise turned out to be from USB dongle itself or still from the mobo but caused by the USB dongle whatever.

Edit:
This is specifically the computer I got https://www.hp.com/us-en/shop/pdp/omen-by-hp-45l-gaming-desktop-gt22-1455xt-bundle-pc. The only upgrade I did was add an additional HDD and an additional SSD and upgrade the ram to a Corsair vengeance 64g ddr5.
