mobo not fitted flush with i/o sheild

hello people

my motherboard is not flush with i/o sheild but its only not flush, ican connect everything(usb's etc)

is this a serious problem,that i have to take everything out and fit the mobo unntil its flush against the i/o sheild

If you can use all the ports, there isn't a problem.

Sounds like the MoBo is warped..... this is a common problem with thin budget boards, (was one of the reasons I wouldn't use Asrock boards years ago), tho I have seen it on rare occasions on even $350 boards

The I/O shield has bent prongs which serve as grounds to the case. As long as these are touching where they are supposed to, you are fine.

Do these steps if they might help you out:
(Make sure you have the correct I/O Shield for your motherboard by matching it with your motherboard outside the case)
1. Make sure you discharge any electrostatic charge before you begin handling the motherboard
Important: Wear an antistatic wrist strap while working on the computer to prevent causing electrostatic damage.
2. Place the I/O panel shield into back of your case by apply pressure to all four corners of the panel to secure it into the case. It should snap into place.
3. Install the standoffs into your case by matching the holes on the motherboard with the available standoff locations on the motherboard tray.
4. Place your motherboard on the standoffs and make sure the holes of your motherboard and the standoffs should all line up. This is place you should be able to insert your motherboard I/O Port panel into I/O shield correctly and carefully. Tighten the screws in standoffs and make sure screws are firm but not too tight.

I don't think I have ever had a system where the motherboard ports were completely flush. Maybe I wasn't doing it all wrong.

Did you try to insert I/O shield from inside the case or outside? If from outside try to insert from inside. Also, if your motherboard holes align perfectly on standoffs, then there is nothing you can do.
