Mobo not responding

s testing a different monitor to see if it works, and unplugged the power to the PC by accident when disconnecting the monitor. Now the PC turns on but the keyboard doesn't turn on, and the monitor says "check video cable". I think maybe the mobo short circuited or something since nothing I plug into it works? Any help is appreciated, thanks in advance!

you connect via (VGA, DVI, HDMI, display port)? keyboard via (P/S, USB)? hope it only short circuit at the adapter not at the integrated circuit. I've had experience with this issue and use other connector instead.

Monitor connected via VGA and keyboard is USB, computer turns on and everything, but anything I plug into the mobo, it doesn't work
