mobo or cpu fan?

Recently the pins to my mobo got bent (the cpu connector pins) and I bent them back in place and placed my cpu in and did a bread board test. The lights of the mobo turned on and it was most definitely receiving power but when I used a flat head screwdriver to jump the power pins there was no response from the cpu cooler or the case fans plugged in. Is this my motherboard that is causing the problem or could it be my cpu cooler?

if u have a molex adapter, try plugging the cooler directly to the PSU and check if the fans are OK. if they are, there is mobo issue.

but if the mobo was fine wouldnt the case fans i plugged in immediately run? Or do they depend on the cpu?

if the mobo is fine than there can be a problem with the RAm.
