Question MOBO or graphic card issue 750ti SC

Hi, ive just recieved a motherboard from a friend, its a lenovo motherboard honestly, i don't know the model, so ive fit it in a case and eventually got everything running, but my 750ti will no longer display an image on the screen, just absolutely nothing. My old motherboard had an 8 pin connector near the cpu, but with new one only has 4, could that be the issue?

Could you post your system specs.
The model might be written somewhere in the motherboard.
Know the model of a motherboard is very important. Without that piece of information it is hard to know which components are compatible with it.
