mobo or ram?

Getting error 53 on compatible ram. Tested 1 stick in every slot, always error 53. Is it the motherboard/DIMM slots or am I missing something?

Tried multiple sticks from the set.

Make sure the CPU is seated correctly and no bent pins in the socket - might also simply want to bench it to make sure it's not shorting out somewhere. Have a guide that may help here:

Thanks. This guide seems to suggest essentially breaking down and reassembling the entire build. Could a connection issue produce a code 53 error? I was under the impression that it was caused by DRAM-specific issues.

Yes if the mobo is shortening on the case somewhere
