would there be any problems with adding this psu CORSAIR Builder Series CX600 600W ATX12V v2.3 80 to this HP Pavilion p7-1414 Desktop PC mobo name MSI MS-7778 (Jasmine)

That should work fine.

The board takes a 4 pin cpu connector and the psu has an 8 that separates into two 4's. You'll only need one.
