Mobo ram support problem

So, i have this asrock z68 extreme gen3 which supports up to DDR3 2133(OC). And i already have 8 gb of ram which is 1333 mhz. I was wondering if i added 8 more gb of the same ram (667 mhz each) would it then be 2666 mhz and i wouldn't be able to support it? Please help me.

no it would still be 1333 just running in dual channel is you only have one stick. Their also a chance it might not even work.
