I want to overclock a Pentium D 805. I need recommendations for any mobo that has AGP and will work with my current old PATA hard drives as well as my old optical drives.

It seems I can't find a decent board that works with the 805 and will let me use my old hardware.

The problem is going to find a board that overclocks well and has AGP. For a dual core P4 I don't know of any. AFAIK the good overclocking boards all use 955 or 975 chipsets which are pcie only.

If I were willing to upgrade to pci-e video card, would the ASUS allow me to use the rest of my old hardware (HDs, DVDDrives, etc)?

Asus P5VD1-X
Asus P5P800 VM
Asus P5P800 SE

All these support PD805 and AGP, I think they all have 2 ide ports. The P5VD1-X has both AGP and PCI-E.

Thanks one and all for the helpful replies.

It is VERY much appreciated.

The P5P800 SE is exactly what I'm looking for (I just can't figure out how I missed it, considering the amout of time I spent the last few days on Newegg and ASUS websites). Sheesh.
