Turning on my computer today simply results in nothing appearing on the screen and im not entirely sure how to "debug" on this or where to start. It seems like the computer doesnt get start loading anything / boot up.

My computer has been working perfect until today.

What I experience:
- Lights on the mobo are working
- Clicking the power button:
-- CPU cooler fan is running
-- GPU fan is running
-- Cabinet fan is running
- The mobo has red numbers to indicate mobo or cpu degrees (not sure which) - it just stays at 00 , however normally it doesnt change until the computer starts up
- Screen shows nothing,- its turned on, but the power display is in like "standby" mode, as it normally is when turning on the computer - when it works the power display normally goes to green color, but this naturally doesnt happen.
- There are two power cables from the PSU connected to the mobo - one big one and one small - I tried taking out the small one suspecting it might not be powering - result was that my GPU fan had a high rotation (sound) which I normally see it having when booting - fans and all running, but nothing still appears to boot

Other notes that could lead to thinking its mobo related:
- The power on mouse nor keyboard doesnt turn on - however normally it first appear a little delayed after the computer is booting - but perhaps shows that nothing boots, since I would assume the light on these to show,

What i've tried:
- Taken all parts out and re-attached cables again

ANY SUGGESTIONS?

My build:
MSI X99S GAMING 7
Intel Core i7-5820K Haswell-E - Box
Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo
Crucial Ballistix SP DDR4-2400 QC - 16GB
MSI GeForce GTX 970 GAMING - 4GB GDDR5
Samsung 850 PRO SSD - 256GB
Samsung 840 EVO SSD - 250GB

00 might be the very first digits it starts at rather than just a blank screen

the psu can appear to be working--ie supply some power--but thats not to say a 12v rail or something couldnt have gone

can get a psu tester cheap enough to rule out the psu being the issue or not
Does the motherboard have device LEDs that flicker on during POST, and if so, do any flicker multiple times or stay lit? Do you have a motherboard speaker, and if so, do you hear more than one short beep? Also, consult the motherboard manual for more troubleshooting options. Make sure everything is plugged in properly and in the right place. I see so many "it wasn't plugged in all the way"s that I shed a tear every time I read posts like this. If you are running out of options, try breadboarding the system to help identify problem components.

Checked the manual and the numbers from the red debug panel and the number "00" doesnt appear in it. Combinations like "0d" etc are there, double checked my display and it only shows "00".

Also checked the led Lights - no flicker at all. Not a Sound from the mobo when Turning on the power, so no beep.

Arghhhhh back to taking all out and connecting it again and see if i get any luck with that 🙁

Unplugged all and connected it again - still same result. Tried Turning on power with and without hdd's plugged in and also tried with combination of fewer RAM blocks.

Wondering if the PSU could actually not be generating enough power -although would seem weird as things seem to have power.

I was able to get some additional tests done on the following:
- Tested with another GPU
- Tested with another PSU
- Tested with other RAM blocks

Still the same - no results on the screen :/

More and more seem to point at some Mobo failure? Everything seems to be running on the mobo though, but guess that doesnt rule out some possible fluke somewhere on the mobo. Just so damn hard to test the mobo throughout and correct :/
