hey guys!
so my mobo seems to have perished. Gigabyte z77 x-ud3h 1155. lately it was super slow to boot, and i couldnt acess the bios. I tried ps2 keyboards and disabling all usbs and hard drives other the boot but no good. Now after removing the battery it simply doesnt go to windows anymore(not to mention i still cant acess the bios). i have the same computer on the side(tho this one has some issues as well since it shuts down randomly) so i cannot really rely on it either.
So perfectly id find a newer version of a similar mobo that i can replace the one i have with.
Problem is, looks like i would either spent tons of money on the same mobo that failed me twice on 2 pcs, or spend a lot of money on new components compatible with newer mobos. So im looking forward to your guidance and ideas on this so i don't need to spend unnecessary money IF i need to spend some money on getting a new cpu+mobo combo that is compatible with my ram(if its cheaper and better than just getting a mobo for 1155) feel free to say it.

So what i had was
corsair Carbide series 400R

Corsair veangeance 32GB(8gb 4x) ddr3 1600 mhz(PC3 12800)

Gigabyte GA-Z77 X-UD3H 155

Intel Core I7 - 3770K 3.5

evga geforce GTX 980TI

thanks in advance!

ps: sorry i guess it was a bit unclear from my post, but i had used this pc for years before so the build worked. just something happened meanwhile and now it doesnt work anymore.

Solution
since this is a gigabyte check in the board user manual how to reset the main bios with the other that is use a recovery on the board .
sorry i think my original post was unclear, the pc was working before, so i think everything in it was compatible. it worked very well for years. just mobo doesnt seem to be doing its job anymore. i also have a microphone on the mobo, and the beeps it does are the ones about everything being fine. just takes 3 to 4 minutes on the gigabyte logo splashscreen, doesnt go to bios, and doesnt go to windows anymore.

tried that too(RAM)_. Didnt think about removing the mic, but didnt help. Bios battery is well placed. 🙁
by comparison, my other pc is barely a second on the bios splash screen.
