Mobo speaker crazy loud buzzing sound under high cpu load

For the past year or so, my PC has started making this buzzing noise when my CPU utilization/load goes up to the high 70s-90's. At first I thought this was GPU coil whine, but when compared to all the coil whine videos I found, the sound was very different. Today, (after installing a new PSU because I thought this might be the issue) I figured out it was the MOBO speaker making the noise.

Why would a mobo speaker/beeper make a noise at high CPU load? Please help! I am using my rig VERY carefully right now for fear of it BLOWING UP! (I jest, but seriously im concerned).

I have a recording of the noise posted to youtube and my system info is a still image in the video.

This had me interested as i haven't heard about this kind of issue before, so i did a little digging.

I came across this post on superuser which is another person having the exact same issue, and they also posted a video which sounded identical to yours.

Somebody had answered them that it could be overheating issues, either from your CPU or GPU.

Maybe give the program speccy a try and keep an eye on temps when this issue happens.

If it comes down to overheating issues, it could be as simple as reseating your CPU, or adding a fan.
