Mobo starts but no post

I have an intel dx58so. I installed a new psu after the old one failed but it now has no post nor video. I breadboarded it and only connected the psu only without anything else and no beeps. Everything turns on as far as fans and when i connect hard drive but no video nor beeps. I am assuming its a mobo failure?

I also tried the ram sticks new ones and replaced the graphic card and nothing. Right now it turns on with the fans and lights but no beeps and no video. Please help.

Yes it does. It use to always do either the one beep code or the ram codes, etc.

Then start the board with no RAMs installed. If the CPU fan does spin and no beeps, and the motherboard does work, then it might be a CPU issue.

why would it be a cpu issue? I figure the motherboard dies before the cpu..

Or motherboard, indeed. Maybe it's time for an upgrade.
